After 14 hours of flight time we were ready to conquer South Korea. I had enough recycled air and airplane meals to last me a lifetime. We left Portland on Sunday at about 2pm and got to our final destination on Monday night. (16 hour time difference)
The first few things that caught my attention were:
- New York cab drivers don't have squat on the cab drivers in Korea.
- Off the charts humidity
- Heated toilets in our hotel room
Tommorow morning we go to the DMZ (demilitarized zone) between North and South Korea. Tommorow afternoon a young South Korean is going to take me around the city for more sights. To be continued.....
